Forklift Operator Paper Production

About the Role

Join a busy paper production facility where you'll operate Crown reach trucks and sit-down counterbalance forklifts with clamp attachments to support production, shipping, and receiving activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate reach trucks and counterbalance forklifts with clamp attachments.
• Supply materials to production lines and move finished products safely.
• Load/unload trucks and sea containers and store inventory accurately.
• Support shipping, receiving, inventory counts, and general warehouse duties.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs regularly.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Crown reach trucks and sit-down counterbalance forklifts.
• Experience using clamp attachments (paper products experience preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable with physical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read and write English for basic documentation.
• Forklift certification is an asset.

Work Environment

• Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM.
• Overtime after 8 hours/day or 44 hours/week.
• Fast-paced paper production and warehouse environment.
• Requires safe work practices and comfort working around heavy equipment and production machinery.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Edmonton, AB.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
