Job Title: Warehouse Forklift Operator

Job Description

This role involves safely operating material handling equipment to pick, pack, move, and store products within a busy warehouse environment. You will handle incoming and outgoing shipments, maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems, and ensure products are stored and rotated correctly to support efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, consolidate, sort, and palletize products according to order requirements and warehouse procedures.
• Receive products by unloading trailers or trucks, verifying quantities, and preparing items for storage.
• Load, unload, transport, and stage pallets in designated storage locations using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Scan and update product movement using warehouse management systems and RF scanners to ensure accurate inventory records.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and guidelines while operating equipment and performing daily tasks.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of experience operating a forklift or other material handling equipment.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and walk for extended periods of time during the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely and repeatedly as part of daily tasks.

Additional Details

• $21/hour
• Afternoon shift (4:00pm-12:30am)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milton, ON.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
