Who this is for
You take care of your mom, dad, husband, wife, grandparent, or another relative here in Yuma, and they have ALTCS (Arizona Long Term Care through AHCCCS) or you think they could qualify. SYNERGY HomeCare of Yuma hires family members as caregivers and pays them for the care they are already giving.
Three ways people come to us
You already get paid to care for your relative through another agency. Caregivers with ALTCS experience are welcome here. Ask us what it takes to bring your family member's care to SYNERGY HomeCare of Yuma. We handle the paperwork.
Your relative has ALTCS and you are caring for them without pay. You can be hired as their caregiver.
You are not sure whether your relative qualifies. Apply anyway. Our case managers at the 28th Street office check eligibility with Yuma families every week, at no cost.
What the job looks like
Help with bathing, dressing, meals, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and companionship, following the care plan the health plan approves. Document each visit in our mobile app. Hours follow the approved plan.
What you get
W-2 employment at $18.25 per hour.
Paid sick time, and medical, dental, and vision coverage for eligible employees.
Direct Care Worker training provided, including for people who have never been certified.

Requirements
18 or older and authorized to work in the United States. Pass a background check. Complete onboarding and training. Follow the care plan and document visits.
