We are seeking a reliable Farm Mechanic for a direct hire opportunity in Bakersfield, CA. This role is ideal for a hands-on mechanic with experience repairing and maintaining tractors, farm equipment, and agricultural machinery in a fast-paced farming environment.

The Farm Mechanic will support daily equipment readiness by troubleshooting mechanical issues, performing repairs, and keeping machinery operating safely and efficiently. This role is focused on agricultural and heavy equipment maintenance, not primarily diesel truck repair. Candidates with a background in farm equipment, tractors, implements, and machinery repair will be best aligned with the position.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose, repair, and maintain tractors, farm equipment, and agricultural machinery.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and mechanical adjustments to keep equipment operating efficiently.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and equipment-related issues in a fast-paced farm environment.
- Complete repairs independently while maintaining safe and organized work practices.
- Support equipment readiness during peak operational periods and respond quickly to repair needs.
- Assist with maintenance on related farm vehicles and equipment as needed.

- Direct hire opportunity.
- Pay range: $23.00 to $26.00 per hour.
