IT Support Specialist

Location: On-Site | Los Angeles Area

Compensation: $50,000 - $65,000 annually, based on skills and experience

Are you passionate about technology and helping people solve problems? We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join a collaborative and growing IT team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their IT career while gaining hands-on experience supporting end users, business applications, hardware, and day-to-day IT operations in a professional office environment.

What You'll Do

End-User Support

• Serve as the first point of contact for employee IT issues via in-person support, email, phone, Microsoft Teams, and the ticketing system.

• Troubleshoot and resolve common issues involving:

• Windows operating systems

• Microsoft 365 applications

• Password resets and account lockouts

• Printers, scanners, and peripheral devices

• VPN and Wi-Fi connectivity

• Basic network-related problems

• Escalate complex issues to senior IT team members when necessary.

• Provide clear, friendly support to users of varying technical skill levels.

User Account & Access Management

• Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding activities.

• Support user account maintenance and access requests.

• Escalate advanced security or access-related issues as appropriate.

Hardware & Software Support

• Configure, deploy, and maintain desktops, laptops, and standard business applications.

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and remote access issues.

• Coordinate equipment repairs and replacements when needed.

Ticket Management & Documentation

• Track, update, and resolve support requests through the ticketing system.

• Maintain accurate documentation of incidents and solutions.

• Contribute to internal knowledge base resources and support procedures.

IT Operations Support

• Assist with routine IT operations and system monitoring.

• Help maintain technology inventory and asset records.

• Coordinate with third-party vendors when required.

• Support a secure, reliable, and efficient technology environment.

Technology Projects

• Assist with software deployments, upgrades, testing, documentation, and user communications.

• Support company-wide technology initiatives and process improvements.

Requirements

Qualifications

Required

• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop support.

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications.

• Understanding of basic networking concepts.

• Strong communication, customer service, and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred

• 1-2 years of IT support experience or formal IT training.

• Experience with Active Directory and/or Entra ID.

• Familiarity with helpdesk or ticketing systems.

• Experience using remote support tools.

• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
