Job Summary
Serves as the hotel representative to prospective clients and customers who need to rent rooms, meeting space, food and beverage service, etc. Responds to sales inquiries, initiates new sales, prospects and qualifies leads and solicits potential clients, entertains clients, conducts site visits and answers questions, determines rates, prepares proposals, negotiates contracts, services accounts and analyzes lost business for the hotel's. Develops sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed established revenue and room night goals. Works with various departments to ensure requested services are provided to customers.
The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Sonoma is ideally located in the heart of Sonoma County, the hotel is near Santa Rosa and Petaluma and less than an hour's drive from Napa and San Francisco. Our guests have the opportunity to experience Sonoma County's world renowned wineries, exquisite dining and picturesque countryside and enjoy popular attractions such as Armstrong Redwoods and the Safari West Wildlife Reserve.
Guests enjoy one of our 245 spacious guest rooms or suites at the DoubleTree Sonoma Wine Country hotel. All rooms feature stylish décor and are equipped with modern amenities, including 37-inch HDTVs and high-speed wireless internet access. The hotel surrounds a beautiful courtyard with lavender and roses and has views of the surrounding golf courses and Sonoma Mountains.
The DoubleTree by Hilton Sonoma offers some of the largest meeting space in Wine Country with 18,000 sq. ft. of indoor space and 32,000 sq. ft. of exterior space, including a large divisible ballroom. The space can accommodate meetings from 10-500 people comfortably and has the ability to break into 13 separate meeting areas. Events can be held outdoors April - October, weather permitting.
