Staff Accountant - NetSuiteRobert Half

Description

Robert Half is seeking a Staff Accountant for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a growing healthcare SaaS organization. This role will support the accounting team across day-to-day general accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting fundamentals, hands-on NetSuite experience, and a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.

Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations

• Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations and research variances

• Assist with financial statement preparation and monthly reporting

• Manage general ledger activity and ensure transactions are accurately recorded

• Assist with AP, AR, cash, and other day-to-day accounting functions

• Support revenue and expense accounting, including reviewing transactions for proper classification

• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies

• Assist with audit requests and provide supporting documentation

• Maintain accurate accounting records and reporting within NetSuite

• Support process improvements and special accounting projects as needed

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required

• 2+ years of Staff Accountant or general accounting experience

• Hands-on NetSuite experience required

• Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting

• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations

• Strong Excel skills

• Healthcare, SaaS, or technology industry experience is a plus

• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
