We are looking for a Psychological Associate interested in joining a rapidly growing private practice at our location in San Diego California. We value a supportive work environment that encourages collaboration while providing associates with the autonomy of a flexible schedule. PsychDoc provides all patients, no need to "drum up work". Associates will be provided with office space, administrative support, patients referred to the practice, and a very flexible schedule. We provide a fantastic opportunity to accrue postdoctoral hours and receive supervision and extensive training. In this role you will:
Work a minimum of 25+ hours per week. Our psychology associates can work as many hours as they would like within hours of operation (8am-7pm).
Conduct in person services with confidentiality, an open mind, and a strong desire to help patients.
Provide therapy to military service members and their families
Work with the treatment of women’s sexual health (Pelvic pain and vaginismus; Training and support available for learning and understanding these conditions)
Work with men's sexual health, including pelvic pain and ED
Work with new mothers
Treat patients with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and pain
Interested candidates must:
Doctorate Degree in Psychology or Clinical Psychology - PhD or PsyD only (must)
Ability to deliver in-person services (must)
Adherence to standards of service operations, documentation, and confidentiality (must)
Prior experience in treating Trauma, PTSD, or associated with sexual assault (preferred)
Have some interested in helping active duty military members
Be coachable and excited to learn
