Senior Finance Associate | Investment Firm | San Francisco; Hybrid

Join a high-growth private investment platform focused on liquidity solutions across venture and growth-stage private markets. This role offers broad exposure across fund accounting, financial reporting, treasury, and investor activity, with a strong focus on review, oversight, and analysis rather than transactional accounting. Youll work closely with a lean, high-caliber finance team and external providers while gaining meaningful exposure to complex institutional funds. Responsibilities

• Review third-party fund accounting, NAVs, capital activity, and financial reporting

• Oversee external fund administrators and resolve accounting issues

• Review financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules

• Support treasury, cash forecasting, and liquidity management

• Assist with capital calls, distributions, subscriptions, and investor activity

• Respond to investor inquiries and provide fund information

• Support audits, tax processes, and external providers

• Perform financial analysis and support special projects

• Drive process improvements and stronger controls

• Partner with the broader finance team across multiple investment vehicles

Requirements

• 25 years of accounting with Investment fund, PE, VC, alternative investment, or financial services experience

• Public accounting / Big 4 experience strongly and CPA preferred

• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting fundamentals

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong Excel and financial data skills

• Excellent communication and attention to detail

• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced investment environment

• Intellectual curiosity and interest in the broader investment management business

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
