We're hiring an experienced Heavy Equipment / Diesel Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heavy construction and asphalt paving equipment.

This is a hands-on role for a mechanic with experience in diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and emission control systems who can diagnose problems and keep equipment running.

Equipment You'll Work On

• Skid loaders and wheel loaders
• Excavators and scrapers
• Pavers and milling machines
• Rollers and compaction equipment
• Asphalt paving equipment
• Other heavy construction equipment

What You'll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, service, and repairs
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures
• Service hydraulic systems
• Maintain tracks and transmissions
• Troubleshoot diesel, electrical, and emission control systems
• Check fluids, lubricate components, and replace parts
• Perform equipment repairs at project sites as needed
• Maintain tools, equipment, and service records

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of Heavy Equipment Mechanic experience preferred
• Experience repairing diesel-powered construction equipment
• Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and emission control systems
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver's license
• Safety-minded and dependable
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Experience with manufacturer diagnostic software is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
