Compensation Range: $150,000$180,000, depending on experience

A growing organization is seeking a hands-on Controller to oversee accounting operations and support continued growth. This role offers broad exposure across US GAAP, project accounting, job costing, revenue recognition, financial reporting, and FP& A, with the opportunity to improve processes and partner closely with leadership in a project-based or similarly complex operating environment.
What You'll Do:
Own month-end close, GL, reconciliations, and financial statements
Oversee cost accounting, job costing, and project profitability
Manage revenue recognition, including percentage-of-completion and ASC 606
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Manage consolidations and management reporting
Maintain US GAAP policies, procedures, and controls
Coordinate annual audit and external auditors
Partner with leadership and operations on financial performance
Build and improve accounting processes as the company grows
Requirements
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years' experience with 2+ years of Controller-level experience
Experience in a project-based, manufacturing, engineering, or similarly complex operating environment
Strong, hands-on US GAAP experience
Cost accounting and job costing experience
Revenue recognition / percentage-of-completion experience
Experience with financial statements, consolidations, and financial planning
Strong Excel and ERP skills
Additional Experience Thats a Plus:
Government contracting / FAR / CAS experience
Experience with project-based ERP systems
ASC 606 experience
CPA, CMA, or MBA
