Location: Middlesex County Area (On-site initially; hybrid flexibility available after onboarding)

Position Type: Full-Time / Permanent

Compensation Range: $80,000$95,000, depending on experience

We are partnering with a well-established and growing manufacturing organization to identify a Senior Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys a hands-on role with visibility across the business. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in supporting month-end close, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives while partnering closely with the Controller and operational teams in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own key aspects of the month-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting

• Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data

• Prepare financial reports, analyze variances, and provide meaningful insights to management

• Support inventory, cost accounting, and other operational accounting activities

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed

• Partner with the Controller to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting efficiencies

• Support audit preparation and compliance requirements

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and financial initiatives

• Contribute to special projects and continuous improvement efforts across the accounting function

Requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• U.S. Citizen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience

• Strong experience with month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting

• Experience within a manufacturing, product-based, or inventory-driven environment preferred

• Strong Excel skills and experience with an ERP or integrated accounting system
