PERMANENT Accounts Receivable Specialist- (Nonprofit or healthcare industry!)
Location: Guilford, CT
Work Arrangement: On-site
Salary: $50,000$58,000, depending on experience
A well-established organization located local to Guilford, CT is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team. This is an on-site opportunity ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who enjoys taking ownership and working with complex accounts receivable functions.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full accounts receivable process, including billing, payment posting, and collections
Handle complex AR functions and account reconciliations
Research and resolve payment discrepancies and outstanding balances
Monitor aging reports and proactively follow up on past-due accounts
Utilize Microsoft Excel daily
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing and payment issues
Qualifications
2+ years of accounts receivable experience (billing is a must)
Experience within the medical/healthcare or nonprofit industry
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Proactive, hands-on mentality with the ability to independently identify and resolve issues
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Compensation & Benefits
$50,000$58,000 annual salary, depending on experience

Requirements
