Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Hartford, CT Area (Hybrid 34 days in office after training)

Position Type: Full-Time / Permanent

Compensation Range: $80,000$90,000, depending on experience

We are partnering with a large, privately held, rapidly growing organization to identify a Senior Accountant. This is a highly visible, varied role supporting multiple locations and working closely with Operations leaders and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage monthly accounting and reporting for a portfolio of locations

• Perform month-end close and prepare journal entries

• Prepare monthly financial statements and reporting packages

• Reconcile bank, cash, credit card, and balance sheet accounts

• Analyze financial results and account activity

• Prepare supporting schedules and financial reporting

• Support applicable tax filings and payments

• Process funding requests, distributions, and invoices

• Partner with Operations and field leadership

• Support special projects and process improvements

Requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting

• 35+ years of full-cycle accounting experience

• General ledger and month-end close experience

• Financial statement preparation experience OR public accounting/audit experience

• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
