Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join a growing team. This contract position with permanent potential is ideal for someone who enjoys turning financial data into meaningful business insight and supporting decision-making through thoughtful analysis. The role is primarily onsite, with the possibility of a hybrid schedule after the first 90 days, and offers the opportunity to contribute during a high-demand period while building long-term value for the organization.

Responsibilities:

Analyze financial results and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that support business planning.

Build and maintain financial models that assist with forecasting, budgeting, and scenario evaluation for management decisions.

Perform variance reviews by comparing actual performance against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods, then communicate key findings clearly.

Prepare ad hoc analyses and reporting materials to address changing business needs and leadership requests.

Use data mining techniques to gather, organize, and interpret large sets of financial information from multiple sources.

Partner with internal stakeholders to improve visibility into performance metrics and strengthen financial reporting accuracy.

Translate complex financial information into concise summaries and recommendations for non-financial audiences.

Support ongoing process improvements within finance operations to increase efficiency, consistency, and data reliability.

Requirements At least 3 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a closely related accounting or analytical role.

Demonstrated ability to create financial models and use them to support forecasting and business decision-making.

Experience conducting variance analysis and explaining financial performance drivers with clarity and accuracy.

Strong skills in ad hoc reporting and the ability to respond effectively to shifting priorities and business questions.

Hands-on experience working with large data sets and applying data mining methods to extract actionable insight.

Advanced analytical thinking with strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial work.

Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings in a clear and understandable manner.
