Description

My client is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager Financial Reporting with experience in the energy, real estate or public accounting industries to assist with their day-to-day accounting and finance operations in their Washington, DC office. The ideal person for the Senior Accounting Manager Financial Reporting position will assist with financial reporting, producing consolidated financial statements, reconciling balance sheet accounts, preparing monthly financial reports, posting the appropriate journal entries; including intercompany transactions, supporting the audits, and having an overall understanding of ASC principles and accounting under US GAAP standards. Daily responsibilities of the Senior Accounting Manager Financial Reporting include:

Assist with monthly financial reporting.

Consolidate financial statements.

Prepare appropriate journal entries.

Reconcile various balance sheet accounts.

Produce financial reporting packages.

Ensure accounting is in compliance with US GAAP.

Requirements

The ideal Senior Accounting Manager Financial Reporting we seek must have the following qualifications for consideration:

Bachelors degree in accounting or finance.

10+ years of relevant accounting experience.

Experience within energy, real estate or public accounting, preferred.

Knowledge of financial reporting and consolidations.

Experience accounting for multi-entities, a plus.

CPA, preferred.
