HVAC Service Tech (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Service Technician)advance cool air
Advance Cool Air is hiring skilled HVAC Service Technicians to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light-commercial systems across South Florida. We need technicians who can solve problems, explain findings clearly, present appropriate options, and document every job thoroughly.
Diagnose electrical, refrigeration, airflow, drainage, control, and indoor-air-quality concerns.
Complete approved repairs and preventive maintenance on split systems, heat pumps, package units, and common accessories.
Explain system condition and repair or replacement options accurately without making unsupported promises.
Prepare clear estimates, obtain approvals, and collect payment in accordance with company procedures.
Complete job notes, readings, photos, equipment information, recommendations, and customer signatures in the CRM.
Identify safety, code, warranty, maintenance, and comfort issues and escalate them appropriately.
Maintain assigned vehicle inventory, tools, refrigerant records, and a clean company vehicle.
Participate in training, team meetings, and scheduled on-call rotation.
At least 3 years of HVAC service experience for residential or light-commercial equipment.
EPA Section 608 Universal certification.
Strong diagnostic ability with meters, gauges, airflow tools, and manufacturer information.
Customer-service and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical findings in plain language.
Valid driver's license and an insurable driving record.
Comfort using an iPad, mobile CRM, digital estimates, and photo documentation.
