Advance Cool Air is hiring HVAC Duct Mechanics to fabricate, install, modify, seal, and repair duct systems for residential and light-commercial projects. We are looking for mechanics who can measure accurately, produce clean transitions and plenums, and complete safe, well-supported, properly sealed installations. 

Measure, lay out, cut, assemble, and install sheet-metal, fiberglass, and flexible duct systems within approved scope. 

Fabricate or install plenums, transitions, boots, collars, dampers, supports, takeoffs, and related fittings. 

Install hangers and supports, seal joints, insulate as required, and verify that ductwork is secure and protected. 

Read plans, sketches, work orders, measurements, and equipment specifications. 

Remove or modify existing ductwork while protecting the structure and customer property. 

Coordinate with installers, project managers, electricians, plumbers, and other trades to avoid conflicts. 

Document completed work, materials, changes, and photos in accordance with company procedures. 

Maintain tools, material inventory, jobsite cleanliness, and safety standards. 

At least 2 years of duct fabrication or installation experience for the upper half of the pay range. 

Ability to read a tape measure, calculate dimensions, and produce accurate field measurements. 

Experience with common duct materials, sealants, insulation, fasteners, supports, and fabrication tools. 

Understanding of airflow, duct sizing, access, condensation control, and code-conscious installation. 

Valid driver's license and an insurable driving record preferred. 

Reliable attendance, teamwork, and ability to follow plans and supervisor direction.
