Vice President, Wealth Management TechnologyRaymond James Financial, Inc.

This position follows our hybrid-friendly schedule, so you get the best of both worlds flexibility and collaboration. In office days will be 2-3 per week averaging 10-12 days per month in our St Petersburg, FL Corporate Office.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy, Architecture & Roadmap

• Define and drive the longterm technology strategy and target architecture for Wealth Management platform

• Own and evolve the application roadmap, prioritizing initiatives that modernize legacy systems and improve advisor experience

• Ensure platforms are scalable, configurable, and aligned with enterprise technology standards

Product & Business Enablement

• Translate business and product strategy into clear, executable technology outcomes

• Partner with Product leadership to move initiatives from pilot or beta into firmwide adoption

• Champion an advisorcentric, endtoend user experience mindset.

Delivery, Platform Modernization & Engineering

• Own endtoend accountability for delivery, production stability, and platform reliability.

• Provide senior leadership and governance across a portfolio of concurrent initiatives with recurring release cycles.

• Drive predictable delivery through clear ownership, milestones, early risk identification, and dependency management

• Lead platform modernization initiatives including cloud adoption, servicebased architectures, API enablement, and UI modernization

• Establish and enforce engineering standards to improve scalability, reliability, and maintainability

• Balance delivery speed with quality by embedding automation and AIenabled SDLC practices, including development and testing techniques that improve delivery velocity, code quality, and team productivity.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Serve as a technology advisor to senior leaders, connecting technology initiatives to measurable business outcomes

• Partner with Architecture, Data, Security, and Infrastructure teams to proactively remove delivery friction

• Evaluate and manage thirdparty vendors and platforms

• Provide concise, executivelevel updates that drive alignment and informed decisionmaking

People Leadership

• Lead and develop a multilayered organization of technology leaders and delivery teams

• Coach leaders to scale impact through effective execution, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement.

• 15+ years of technology experience in financial services, including senior leadership roles

• Proven experience delivering largescale application development and modernization initiatives

• Experience supporting advisorfacing or clientfacing platforms in Wealth Management or related domains

Skills & Competencies

• Enterprise application architecture and largescale delivery leadership

• Strong understanding of Wealth Management domain

• Experience driving engineering standards, automation, CI/CD, and AIenabled SDLC practices

• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders with clear, outcomefocused communication
