Ensures that monitors are functioning properly. Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Requires Basic Dysrhythmia Certification, and BLS.May require an associates degree or its equivalent and 0-2 years of experience in the field. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Qualifications: Years of Related Experience Minimum: 0-1 years Preferred: 2-4 years Licensure / Certification / Education (Required): Education: High School Graduate/Equivalent EKG Interpretation/Dysrhythmia Course (within 90 days of hire date) Licensure / Certification /Education (Preferred): American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Education: Technical School/1 Year College Specialized Skills (Required): Basic Computer skills Basic Dysrhythmia Class Experience as a secretary in the health care field or formal secretary course Specialized Skills (Preferred): Medical Terminology Class Experience in Cardiac Rhythm interpretation Steward Health Care is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer.
