An Assistant Director of Spa - Male is responsible for daily Spa operations. The Assistant Spa Director ensures the efficient and safe operations of the Spa, Fitness and Salon/Retail departments on a daily basis. Mentors managers and supervisors to drive Team Member engagement, troubleshooting and managing any Team Member issues. Continuously recruits, trains and develops talent to ensure the Spa Grande is the best place for Team Members to work and grow. Works closely with the Spa Director to continuously drive the overall strategy and vision of the Spa. Implements, monitors, and maintains processes to ensure delivery in creating extraordinary lifetime memories for Guests. Supports communication of independent contractors as needed for all service providers, Maintains labor management, inventory and retail COS controls to ensure profitability for the department and resort.

What will I be doing?

An Assistant Director of Spa - Male is responsible for daily Spa operations. Specifically, you would be responsible for the following:

• Oversees Spa services managers, supervisors, team members, and spa contractors. Communicates effectively both orally and in writing to provide clear direction to team members. Observes performance and encourages improvement. Interviews, selects, trains,supervises, evaluates, counsels, and administers disciplinary procedures for Spa team members. Monitors lobby traffic and makes staffing adjustments as required.
• Interacts positively with guests and takes action to resolve problems to the satisfaction of the parties involved using appropriate discretion and judgment.
• Responsible for cleanliness and maintenance of facility, and maintenance of safety and health standards.
• Inspect and continually monitor the Men's Terme, the Men's locker room and surrounding areas.
• Assists Director with projects as assigned.
