Lead Window and Door InstallerMoscow Glass
Are you the best installer at your shop with nowhere left to grow?
Do you actually enjoy bringing a younger guy up in the trade, or does it feel like babysitting?
A strong lead installer, like you, wants to know how the business runs, how your work affects the bottom line, and how you get rewarded when the company wins. At Moscow Glass, you'll get all three.
We install residential windows, exterior and interior doors, shower glass, and the occasional commercial job across Moscow and Pullman. We're a small team with high standards, and we're looking for an experienced installer who can run jobs solo, lead a helper, and move efficiently without cutting corners.
What a typical day looks like
Most mornings you'll inspect the windows and materials for the day, prep and load your truck, and head to installs in the Moscow / Pullman area. You'll work alongside a junior installer who's coming up in the trade. You'll meet homeowners, work inside and outside their homes, and represent Moscow Glass to every client you see. A friendly, professional demeanor is part of the job.
Why this role is different
You'll be trained in the Great Game of Business. That means you'll understand how Moscow Glass actually runs at the macro level: where the money comes from, where it goes, what moves the needle, and how your daily work affects company performance. You'll participate in profit sharing tied to the results you help create. Most installers never get this kind of visibility into the business they work for. You will.
You'll also have real input on how we do things. We're small enough that good ideas don't get lost, and we're growing.
What we're looking for
4+ years of window and door installation experience, or 6+ years of finish carpentry experience. Enough that you can look at a rough opening and know exactly what needs to happen.
Someone who works at a real production pace without sacrificing quality. The best installers we know are both fast and meticulous, and that's the bar.
Comfortable running jobs solo and leading a helper. You enjoy bringing someone up, not just tolerating them on your truck.
Estimating or commercial glazing experience is a plus, but not required.
What winning looks like
In your first 30 days, you're running installs solo, your helper is keeping up, and your jobs are coming in on time with no callbacks.
By 60 days, you've started learning the financial side of the business through Great Game training and you're identifying small process improvements on your own.
By 90 days, you're a known quantity to our clients, your helper is visibly better than when you started, and you're contributing to how we estimate and schedule jobs.
