Description

SAIC is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the US Navy in Crane, IN.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

You will be part of a collaborative team of engineers and technicians working to support sustainment activities within the Strategic Systems unit at NSWC Crane. This role will be focused on adapting and updating existing assets and infrastructure for the Conventional Prompt Strike missile systems used on the new Columbia/Dreadnaught class submarines. You will primarily work on the Crane Naval Base directly supporting the Government Customer, with occasional trips to SAICs facility in Bedford, IN.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering and zero years of experience.
• Interim secret clearance is required to start with the ability to obtain a secret clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process.
• Must be a US citizen.

Target salary range: $60,001 - $100,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
