Description

• Perform cost of goods sold reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

• Process and review inventory requisitions to support proper inventory control and tracking.

• Maintain and analyze accounts receivable reserves to support accurate financial statements.

• Review and reconcile bank statements to ensure cash activity is properly recorded.

• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies as needed.

• Assist with the preparation, review, and analysis of balance sheets.

• Complete work-in-process reconciliations to support accurate inventory and production accounting.

• Maintain fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, depreciation, and reconciliations.

• Monitor and reconcile cash activity to ensure accurate recording and reporting.

Requirements

• Experience with general accounting, account reconciliations, and financial statement support.

• Knowledge of cost of goods sold reconciliation, work-in-process reconciliations, and inventory accounting.

• Experience reviewing inventory requisitions, accounts receivable reserves, bank statements, and cash activity.

• Familiarity with fixed asset accounting, including asset tracking, depreciation, and reconciliations.

• Strong understanding of balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close processes.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and reconciliations.

• Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
