CT Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist, radiologic technologist, or in a closely related diagnostic imaging role
• ARRT certification
• Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
• Mammography technologist credentials or experience, as applicable to the assignment
• Ability to work on-site in an acute-care hospital environment
• Strong patient-care, communication, and teamwork skills

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform CT and related diagnostic imaging procedures safely and accurately
• Prepare patients for examinations, explain procedures, and promote comfort and cooperation
• Operate CT, X-ray, and other imaging equipment according to established protocols and safety standards
• Review imaging studies for technical quality and promptly communicate relevant concerns to the appropriate clinical team
• Maintain accurate documentation and complete required records in Cerner
• Follow radiation-safety, infection-control, and hospital policies
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, physicians, and other members of the care team
