Description We are looking for an organized Accounting Clerk to support daily financial operations in Campbellsville, Kentucky. This position focuses on maintaining accurate records, processing routine accounting transactions, and helping ensure timely handling of payables and receivables. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with financial data, and able to manage multiple administrative accounting tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Process vendor invoices and prepare accounts payable transactions with accuracy and timeliness.

Record incoming payments and update accounts receivable information to keep customer accounts current.

Enter financial and operational data into accounting systems while verifying completeness and accuracy.

Assist with invoice handling, including review, coding, and documentation of payment records.

Prepare and post basic journal entries to support routine accounting activity.

Reconcile financial records and resolve discrepancies by reviewing supporting documentation.

Maintain organized accounting files and ensure records are accessible for reporting and audit needs. Requirements Experience or familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Ability to perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Knowledge of invoice processing and general accounting recordkeeping practices.

Understanding of basic journal entries and transaction documentation.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Proficiency in standard office and accounting software applications.

Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with internal and external contacts.
