Description We are looking for a Legal Secretary to provide dependable administrative support to an attorney handling criminal and family law matters in Crescent Springs, Kentucky. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is organized, responsive, and comfortable managing legal documents and court-related deadlines in a fast-paced practice. The role focuses on keeping cases moving efficiently through accurate filing, case intake coordination, and day-to-day office support.

Responsibilities:

Support an attorney with administrative and case-related tasks across criminal and family law matters.

Prepare and submit electronic court filings through appropriate filing platforms while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Open new matters, organize case records, and maintain complete documentation for active files.

Manage calendars, track important deadlines, and help coordinate schedules related to court and client matters.

Use established templates to format routine legal documents and correspondence as needed.

Transcribe or process dictated content to produce clear and accurate legal documentation.

Monitor filing confirmations and follow up on submission issues to help keep matters on schedule. Requirements Prior experience working as a Legal Secretary or in a similar legal support role.

Hands-on experience with electronic filing and court filing procedures.

Familiarity with criminal law and family law case support.

Ability to manage calendars, deadlines, and multiple active matters with strong attention to detail.

Experience opening case files and maintaining organized legal records.

Comfortable working with document templates and preparing routine legal materials.

Strong typing, communication, and dictation-related administrative skills.
