Minimal Qualifications
Education
- Graduation from an accredited school of Nurse-Midwiferyrequired
Experience
- 1-2 years Clinical nurse midwife experiencerequired
Licenses and Certifications
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure in the State of Maryland and/or in the District of Columbiarequiredor
- MIDWIFE - Nurse Midwife - Licensed in the State of Maryland and/or in the District of Columbiarequiredand
- AC-CRN-Midwife MBON - ACCRNMID and
- CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (includes BLS and NRP) for healthcare providers from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within 90 Daysrequiredand
- Additionalunit/specialty certifications may vary by department or business unit.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Verbal and written communication skills.
Basic computer skillspreferred.
