As part of the renownedMedStar Heart & Vascular Institute, MedStar Union Memorial Hospital is seeking adedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistantto join ourCardiacSurgeryteam. Our institute is recognized regionally and nationally for advancing cardiovascular care through groundbreaking research, state-of-the-art technology, and a steadfast focus on improving patient outcomes.
In this role, you will:
- Provide comprehensive inpatient care, focusing on pre- and post-operative management.
- Collaborate with an expert team of surgeons, physicians, and advanced practice providers to deliver exceptional, evidence-based care.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and innovation incardiacsurgerypractices.
Position Details:
- Full-time,40 hours per week (3 twelve hr shifts weekly PLUS 1 eight hour shift every other week - totaling 80 hours every 2 weeks)
- Day shift
- Inpatient-focused role
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous clinical experience incardiacsurgery or a surgical/acute care setting strongly preferred
