HVAC ApprenticeJ E Turnbaugh Plumbing & Heating

J.E. Turnbaugh is expanding our HVAC Department and we're seeking a motivated HVAC Apprentice to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has begun their HVAC journey and is eager to learn and excel in the field. Applicants should also be able to take the initiative to learn from our more experienced staff members to diagnose problems, troubleshoot systems, and collaborate with other contractors when required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

**KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

Assist with HVAC installations, repairs, and maintenance

Demonstrate strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Learn and develop HVAC skills

Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers

Perform maintenance tasks as directed by the HVAC team

Demonstrate technical proficiency

Maintain company equipment

**QUALIFICATIONS**

Well organized, time management

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work with a team & independently

1+ years of experience preferred

Dependable and reliable

Follow instructions

Uphold high character, integrity, and demonstrate pride in your work

Ability to operate all necessary tools and equipment

Working knowledge of HVAC materials, tools, and equipment

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**

Ability to handle a physical workload and lift 50+ lbs

Comfort with working in various weather conditions

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION

Driver's License with a clean driving record (Required)

SCHEDULE

Monday Friday 7:30am 4:00pm

30 Minute Lunch Break

Overtime may be required
