Position Summary: Under the direct supervision of a Nurse Manager or a Resource Nurse, coordinatesactivities and services on the patient care units while functioning as the focalpoint of communication at the nursing station. Required Knowledge & Skills: Provides services that address thespecific needs of age groups from infant to elderly, and is also customized to a variety of needs specific to impairments such as hearing, sight, substance abuse, Non-English speaking, and potential victims of abuse. Incorporated knowledge andunderstanding of our commitment to patient rights, our value statement, mission Statement, code of ethics, and patient responsibilities into the performance of job responsibilities.Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality. Schedule: 24 hours / Day Shift Education:High school graduate or its equivalent Experience:Previous experience in a clerical or receptionist position preferred. Hospital Experience preferred. Computer experience and medical terminology preferred. Certification and Licenses Required: None
