Responsibilities:
Process a high volume of vendor invoices each month while ensuring timely and accurate entry into the accounting system.
Review, code, and post general corporate payables with close attention to proper account classification and supporting documentation.
Manage routine payment activities, including preparing ACH transactions and assisting with check run processing as needed.
Maintain organized accounts payable records and help keep invoice workflows current, complete, and audit-ready.
Work within Viewpoint Vista to complete daily AP tasks and support consistent financial operations.
Coordinate with internal accounting staff to resolve invoice discrepancies, obtain approvals, and address vendor payment questions.
Concentrate on standard company payables only, excluding payroll, prepaid accounting, and subcontractor payment application processing.
Adapt quickly to established procedures and contribute dependable support during a time-sensitive coverage period. Requirements Demonstrated experience in accounts payable with a strong understanding of invoice processing and account coding.
Ability to handle monthly invoice volumes in the range of 500 to 1,000 with accuracy and efficiency.
Proficiency in coding invoices, processing payments, and supporting ACH and check run activities.
Familiarity with accounting systems and the ability to learn new platforms quickly; experience with Viewpoint Vista is strongly preferred.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently after initial training.
Dependable work style with good organizational skills and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
Construction industry exposure is helpful, but candidates with solid general AP backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.
