Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support a busy service organization in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This Long-term Contract opportunity is suited for someone who can work consistently five days per week, with schedules available for either approximately 30 hours or a full 40-hour workweek. The position focuses on accurate invoice handling, payment processing, and dependable administrative support in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities:

Review, code, and enter invoices with a high level of accuracy while maintaining steady productivity.

Process accounts payable transactions and help ensure payments are completed within established timelines.

Prepare ACH payments and assist with check run activities as part of the regular disbursement cycle.

Verify supporting documentation and confirm account coding before submitting items for payment.

Maintain organized financial records and update payment information within internal systems.

Perform numeric data entry for large volumes of financial information while minimizing errors.

Communicate with internal team members to resolve invoice discrepancies, missing details, or payment questions.

Support ongoing departmental needs and assist with process-related tasks tied to accounts payable operations. Requirements At least 2 years of experience in an administrative, accounting support, or finance-related role.

Ability to work on-site in Saint Paul, Minnesota, five days each week.

Experience handling detailed data entry tasks with strong speed and accuracy.

Familiarity with invoice review, account coding, or payment processing activities is preferred.

Working knowledge of ACH transactions, check processing, or similar payment methods is an asset.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of work efficiently.

Clear communication skills and the ability to follow established procedures consistently.
