Job Summary
- Sets up work area at the beginning of the shift.
- Maintains par levels of plate ware, glassware, silverware, condiments, and all other items.
- Carries dirty dishes from dining room to kitchen.
- Carries dirty service items from the side stations to the dishwashing area.
- Wipes table tops and chairs with sanitized cloth.
- Breaks down all trays of dirty dishes brought from the dining room.
- Carries dirty dishes from the breakdown area to the dishwashing area.
- Wipes table tops and chairs with sanitized cloth.
- Inspects all tabletop items for cleanliness before tables are ready to be seated.
- Replenishes supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes in dining room.
- Polishes silverware and glassware.
- Wipes down all coffee machines, ices tea makers, soda nozzles, and countertops during the course of the shift.
- Cleans and polishes shelves and doors of service areas and equipment such as coffee urns, milk, juice, tea, and soda dispensers.
- Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils, segregates and removes garbage, and steam cleans or hoses garbage containers. Distributes supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
