Job Summary and Qualifications

• As a Clinical Rehabilitation Specialist, you will contribute to high quality, patient-centered care by identifying candidates for inpatient rehabilitation and initializing timely, appropriate patient transfers
• In collaboration with the Rehab Medical Director, you will ensure appropriate patient placement through clinical assessments and screening and will serve as an inpatient rehabilitation expert between internal and external referral sources and inpatient rehabilitation operations
• You will be responsible for establishing relationships with case managers, physicians, payors, and other referral sources

What qualifications you will need:

• Associate Degree in Nursing or Respiratory Therapy ORBachelors Degree in Physical or Occupational Therapy ORMasters Degree in Speech Therapy required
• 2+ years experience in clinical care required
• 2+ years experience in inpatient rehabilitation required
• Experience as a clinical evaluator preferred
