Location: Nellis AFB, NV

Work Schedule: 0730-1630, Monday – Friday between the hours of 0700 and 2000. Shifts will normally be scheduled for a 9-hour period, to include an uncompensated 60-minute lunch break. The contractor will provide on call coverage as scheduled and may be required to work extended hours due to clinical necessity in urgent situations. This on-call requirement is rotated among all Neurology Providers

On-Call: Contractor must be able to respond to any study within 1 hour of notification.

Pay: Between $200/hr - $218/hr

On-Call Pay: $18/hr

Position Type: PRN - Independent Contractor (1099)

Responsibilities

• Examine, diagnose, and treat diseases and disorders of the nervous system.
• Outpatient Services. Provide outpatient services for patients as scheduled by the Government.
• Inpatient Services. Shall provide inpatient care.
• Provide immediate evaluation and management of emergency problems as they occur.
• Capable of performing lumbar punctures.
• Capable of performing and interpreting nerve conduction studies and electromyography.
• Capable of performing evoked potentials and electroencephalograms.
• Capable of providing chemodenervation (such as botulinum toxin injections) for common neurological conditions.
• Prepare all records and reports as may be required in support of services rendered and as required by the MTF.
• Ensure a safe work environment and employee safe work habits.
