Job Summary

Description

Accounting Clerk Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and verify revenue activity on a recurring basis, ensuring transactions are accurately reflected in the general ledger.

  • Generate customer billings and monitor incoming payments, including deductions, adjustments, and service-related fees.

  • Analyze government rebate and reimbursement programs and support related accrual calculations.

  • Coordinate with outsourced payroll resources to review payroll-related accounting activity and record monthly journal entries.

  • Manage transactions between affiliated entities and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure balances and activity agree across locations.

  • Perform reconciliations of intercompany accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

  • Support periodic financial reporting requirements through account analysis, schedules, and balance sheet documentation.

  • Assist with cash management activities and ensure transactions are recorded in accordance with accounting policies.

  • Provide transactional and reporting support for operational and compliance-related reporting initiatives.

  • Participate in audit preparation by gathering supporting documentation and responding to information requests.

  • Complete financial analyses, reporting projects, and other assignments as needed.

Requirements

Accounting Clerk Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

  • Approximately 2+years of progressive accounting experience.

  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP; exposure to international accounting standards is beneficial.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP and financial reporting systems.
