Job Summary

Description

  • Support month-end and year-end close processes through account analysis, reconciliations, and preparation of financial schedules.

  • Monitor expenditures and revenue activity to ensure transactions are accurately recorded and aligned with organizational policies.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to review budget performance and provide financial support for funded programs and initiatives.

  • Prepare financial reports, reimbursement requests, and other documentation required by external funding sources.

  • Assist with the management of payables, receivables, and other day-to-day accounting activities.

  • Ensure financial transactions are supported by appropriate documentation and coded correctly within the general ledger.

  • Participate in audit preparation by compiling schedules, reports, and supporting records for review.

  • Help develop and maintain program budgets while tracking performance against approved funding allocations.

Requirements

The Senior Accountant/Grant Manager should be comfortable working in a small office and business partnering. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, working knowledge of GAAP, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, budgeting, and financial reporting. experience with AP/AR/Billing. QuickBooks is a plus.
