Description We are looking for a skilled NOC Technician to join our team in Somerset, New Jersey. This position involves monitoring and maintaining network operations, ensuring system reliability, and addressing technical issues promptly. As a long-term contract role, it offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to critical network support and operations.

Responsibilities:

Monitor network systems to ensure continuous operation and promptly address outages or performance issues.

Perform routine maintenance tasks to optimize system performance and reliability.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to network infrastructure, including wireless protocols and cable assemblies.

Collaborate with team members to implement solutions for network-related challenges.

Document and report network performance metrics and issues to relevant stakeholders.

Configure and optimize network tools, including Norton Utilities for Windows.

Support Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) and Wireless Personal Area Network (WPAN) technologies.

Maintain and upgrade network hardware and software as required.

Ensure compliance with company standards and protocols in all network operations.

Provide technical guidance and support to other departments as necessary. Requirements Proven experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) role.

Proficiency in using Norton Utilities on Windows systems.

Strong understanding of Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) and Wireless Personal Area Network (WPAN) technologies.

Familiarity with cable assemblies and their application in network infrastructure.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues efficiently.

Solid knowledge of network monitoring tools and practices.

Excellent communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
