Adecco is currently recruiting for a Seasonal Tax Preparer on behalf of our client in Newark, NY! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong attention to detail, and is interested in helping individuals with their tax preparation needs.

Previous tax preparation experience is preferred, but not required. Our client is willing to train the right candidate!

Office Hours:

The client's office operates during the following hours:

MondayFriday: 10:00 AM 6:00 PM

Saturday: 10:00 AM 4:00 PM

Sunday: 12:00 PM 4:00 PM

The selected candidate will work a scheduled shift within these operating hours. The position does not require working all hours the office is open.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with preparing individual federal and New York State income tax returns.

• Gather and review client tax documents and financial information.

• Ensure information is accurate and complete.

• Answer client questions and provide excellent customer service.

• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client information.

Qualifications:

• Previous tax preparation experience preferred, but not required.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn tax preparation software.

• Dependable, professional, and motivated to learn.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $23.00 per hour
