Financial Operations Associate

Location: White Plains, NY

Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite

Duration: 12-Month Contract

Pay Rate: $20-$22/hour (plus overtime eligibility)

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Operations Coordinator to support daily operational and accounting functions in a fast-paced office environment. This position is ideal for someone with strong administrative experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Process daily and monthly payment requests through accounting systems

• Match, review, and process invoices using designated payment platforms

• Apply client payments, including ACH, wire, and check transactions

• Process credit card payments and ensure proper invoice allocation

• Assist with accounts receivable activities, payment research, and billing support

• Maintain spreadsheets and enter data accurately

• Monitor and manage shared department email inboxes

• Identify discrepancies and assist with implementing process improvements

• Support operational reporting and administrative projects as needed

• Collaborate with team members to resolve issues and improve workflows

Qualifications

Required Experience

• Administrative support, office support, or coordinator experience

• Customer service experience

• Data entry, records management, or document tracking experience

Preferred Skills

• Basic accounting knowledge

• Familiarity with invoicing, billing, accounts receivable, or payment processing

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

• Experience working with accounting or financial systems
