• Start Date: November 16, 2026
• End Date: February 15, 2027
• Schedule: Full-time, five 8-hour day shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days, approximately 6:00 a.m.2:30 p.m.
• Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week

OR Equipment Technician Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of hospital, healthcare logistics, medical equipment, supply chain, or related experience
• Ability to walk long distances while pushing carts of equipment and medical supplies
• Ability to lift equipment weighing more than 35 pounds
• Ability to push and pull loaded carts weighing more than 100 pounds
• Effective communication skills in person, by telephone, in writing, and through email
• Ability to follow standard precautions and use required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Reliable transportation to and from the on-site work location in Mayfield Heights

Medical Equipment Logistics Responsibilities

• Perform targeted rounding in active patient care areas to recover equipment for processing and redistribution
• Clean, evaluate, inspect, and deliver medical devices and equipment according to established procedures
• Support the availability and timely movement of infusion pumps, syringe pumps, feeding pumps, PCA pumps, DVT pumps, specialty beds, specialty carts, and procedural trays
• Transport medical equipment and supplies safely throughout the healthcare facility
• Identify equipment requiring additional service, cleaning, inspection, or processing
• Maintain organized equipment flow so operating room and clinical teams can access needed resources efficiently
• Follow healthcare facility safety, infection prevention, standard precaution, and personal protective equipment requirements
• Complete required orientation and pre-start training activities
