Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialis to support a healthcare organization in Miamisburg, Ohio through a Contract assignment. This role is well suited for a detail-oriented finance specialist who can balance day-to-day accounts payable activity with broader accounting support, including month-end close and reconciliation work. The position requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment when resolving discrepancies, and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Manage full-cycle accounts payable activities, including reviewing invoices, assigning accurate coding, and preparing items for timely processing.

Perform three-way matching by comparing purchase orders, receipts, and invoices to confirm accuracy before payment approval.

Investigate billing discrepancies, data issues, and invoice exceptions, then take appropriate action to resolve them efficiently.

Support month-end close by preparing journal entries, organizing supporting documentation, and helping maintain accurate financial records.

Reconcile general ledger accounts on a regular basis to identify variances and ensure balances are properly supported.

Complete bank reconciliations and research outstanding items to maintain accuracy across cash-related accounts.

Work closely with internal stakeholders to clarify payment details, correct coding concerns, and improve invoice processing accuracy.

Apply critical thinking to identify process issues, reduce errors, and maintain compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in accounts payable and general accounting functions.

Proven ability to perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies with a high degree of accuracy.

Experience coding invoices, managing exceptions, and handling three-way matching in a high-volume environment.

Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify data errors and recommend practical solutions.

Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Onbase software experience is a ++ not required
