Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support a non-profit religious organization in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This part-time opportunity offers 12 to 15 hours per week and is a Long-term Contract position for someone who can manage core accounting activities with accuracy and consistency. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on bookkeeping experience and confidence working across day-to-day financial operations using QuickBooks.

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records and keep the general ledger current through timely entry and review of transactions.

Process vendor invoices, issue payments, and ensure accounts payable activities are completed correctly and on schedule.

Record incoming funds, monitor outstanding balances, and manage accounts receivable with careful follow-up as needed.

Handle payroll processing in QuickBooks while supporting accurate wage payments and related recordkeeping.

Reconcile bank statements and internal accounts to identify discrepancies and preserve financial accuracy.

Prepare routine financial reports to support organizational oversight and informed decision-making.

Assist with full-cycle bookkeeping duties, ensuring accounting documentation is organized and audit-ready. Requirements At least 3 years of bookkeeping experience.

Proven ability to perform account reconciliations with a high level of accuracy.

Experience serving in a full-charge bookkeeping capacity across multiple accounting functions.

Working knowledge of general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.

Proficiency with QuickBooks for day-to-day bookkeeping activities.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage part-time responsibilities efficiently.

Clear communication skills and a dependable work style.
