Behavioral Health Therapist II - Evenings, Walk-In ClinicUPMC

UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh is hiring Behavioral Health Therapists for our South Satellite location!

Title and Rate of Pay will be based on Education and Experience

Make a lasting impact in a child's life - one session at a time. The Behavioral Health Walk-In Clinic at UPMC Children's Hospital provides compassionate, same-day care for youth up to age 18 experiencing non-urgent behavioral health concerns.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted behavioral health assessment

• Implement one-time therapeutic interventions

• Coordinate with existing care teams and community resources

• Provide short term bridge therapy to appropriate patients and families

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education in school counseling, or related field required.

• Two years of clinical experience diagnosing and treating behavioral and psychiatric conditions required.

• Knowledge of psychiatric evaluation and assessment process, as well as application of current version of the DSM required.Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• Clinical Social Worker (CSW) OR Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist OR Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
