Join our dynamic finance team as an FP& A Manager-Cost/Sales Analyst, where you will own varied responsibilities including FP& A, Sales Analysis, and Product Costing. As the FP& A Manager you will provide financial planning and analysis to support financial growth, provide insight to support strategic decision-making, partner with department heads to develop budgets and forecasts, prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, generate financial reports for management, create financial summaries, and dashboards and reports to monitor key KPIs, including financial due diligence and integration planning. This position offers the opportunity to combine analytical insight with operational impact-bridging finance, sales, and production to deliver meaningful cost structures and optimizing price strategies.

Major Responsibilities

• Oversee the development of the annual financial plan and update ongoing projections to reflect changing business conditions

• Produce periodic financial performance reviews that assess results against established targets, updated projections, and historical trends

• Assess business performance across sales, unit volumes, profitability, operating costs, EBITDA, liquidity, cash flow, and working capital

• Identify the underlying causes of financial and operational performance gaps and present actionable recommendations to leadership

• Create financial models to measure the potential impact of investment decisions, staffing plans, product launches, customer initiatives, and other business opportunities

• Analyze financial performance across customer accounts, product lines, sales channels, and individual business segments to identify profitability trends

• Drive pricing and margin analysis by developing pricing models, evaluating alternative pricing structures, establishing profitability thresholds, and assessing major customer opportunities.

• Collaborate with Accounting, Cost Accounting, and Pricing teams to validate financial assumptions, confirm cost accuracy, and maintain data integrity

• Design and maintain financial dashboards, performance metrics, business scorecards, and presentations for senior management.

• Identify opportunities to strengthen budgeting and forecasting methods, streamline reporting activities, improve data reliability, and enhance overall financial processes.

Requirements

The ideal FP& A Manager will have a Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or Business.

Other requirements for the FP& A Manager role include and are not limited to:

5+ years FP& A/budgeting/forecasting experiences

MBA, CPA preferred

Manufacturing/Distribution industry experience preferred

Pricing experience required

Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Experience analyzing financial statements, operating results, and budget-to-actual variances
