Description

A well-established national law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Knowledge Management & Research Manager to lead its firmwide knowledge management, legal research, and library services functions.

This position offers the opportunity to develop knowledge-sharing strategies, improve research capabilities, implement new technologies, and manage a team supporting attorneys across multiple offices.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement the firm's knowledge management strategy across multiple offices.

• Oversee legal research, library services, and information resources.

• Manage, train, and develop knowledge management and research staff.

• Evaluate and implement legal research technology, AI tools, and knowledge management platforms.

• Improve access to legal research materials, internal precedents, and institutional knowledge.

• Manage vendor relationships, research subscriptions, budgets, and resource utilization.

• Collaborate with attorneys, IT, and firm leadership to improve efficiency and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Experience in knowledge management, legal research, or library services within a law firm.

• Prior management or supervisory experience.

• Strong understanding of legal research platforms, information management systems, and emerging legal technology.

• Experience developing processes and implementing technology to improve efficiency.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and administrative leadership.
