The postdoctoral scholar will contribute to NIH-funded research projects focused on developing and validating AI approaches for personalized medicine using structured and unstructured electronic health record (EHR) data. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, developing and evaluating natural language processing (NLP), machine learning, and predictive modeling methods; analyzing large-scale EHR data; developing models to predict clinical outcomes and support personalized clinical decision-making; and validating models across multiple healthcare institutions. The scholar will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of informaticians, clinicians, researchers, and data scientists; contribute to manuscripts, conference presentations, reports, and grant applications; participate in project meetings; and, as appropriate, mentor students and research staff. Performance will be evaluated based on research progress, productivity, collaboration, publications, and achievement of project milestones, along with any other assignments that I, as the Principal Investigator, may request.

A doctorate degree in the biomedical sciences or related field required.
