Description We are looking for a welcoming and organized Receptionist to support daily front-desk operations in Rhode Island. This Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a positive first impression, assisting guests, and keeping communication flowing smoothly throughout the workplace. The person in this role will help manage visitor interactions, coordinate mail handling, and provide dependable customer service in a well-organized setting.

Responsibilities:

Welcome guests and create a welcoming, friendly experience from arrival through departure.

Guide visitors to the appropriate person or department while maintaining an orderly reception area.

Handle incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring deliveries are sorted and distributed accurately.

Answer general inquiries in person and provide clear, helpful information to employees, clients, and guests.

Support front-desk operations by monitoring visitor traffic and maintaining sign-in procedures as needed.

Coordinate communication between visitors and internal staff to ensure timely assistance and smooth interactions. Requirements Prior experience in a receptionist, front-desk, or customer-facing administrative role.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with visitors and staff.

Ability to provide attentive customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Comfortable directing guests and responding to routine questions with clarity and courtesy.

Reliable organizational skills with the ability to manage mail distribution and front-desk tasks efficiently.
