Job Summary and Qualifications

The CTCoordinatorperforms computerized tomography procedures as outlined by the radiologist.The CTcoordinatoris responsible forchecking the diagnostic quality ofallfilms, training departmentstaffand respondingto questions from both medical physicians and other hospital departments.Operates diagnostic equipment,verifiesimagesand prepares room with necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure.The CT coordinatorassiststhe CT Supervisor with all leadership duties to include, but not limited to,employee scheduling, annual employee evaluations, clerical,transportation, ordering supplies, inventory,cleaningand anythingdeemednecessary by the medical imaging management team.Job may include direct supervision of students at the discretion of theimaging management team.Employeemust have the same licensure or have completed the sametraining tosatisfy the requirements of the discipline of the student. Direct supervisionmeansthe primary caregiver is readily available to the student throughout the shift.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology required
• ARRT certification required
• SCRQSA required
  
• CT Registry required
• BLS required
• Minimum of 2 years of CT experience strongly preferred
